THE FEATURES I WISH MY SMART PHONE HAD

When ALEXANDRE GRAHAM BELL invented the first telephone in 1876, little did he know that it would end up becoming an integral part of our lives.

Like us humans, who evolved from apes into the smart intelligent beings we are now(are we?!? but chuck it, we'll leave that argument for another day), the mobile phone has also evolved from bulky communication devices into fashion accessories that come equipped with everythin other than a water purifier(i guess that's a cost cutting measure considering there is very little water around)

Which got me thinking, if they could do it, i can do it too. Why cant i come up with features of my own. Here goes nothing.

When the first TOUCH phone was introduced, it revolutionised the mobile telecom industry. it became a benchmark of sorts, every mobile company started introducing "touch-operated" models. The "touch phone" craze seems to be fading now. i guess its time for a change. the change i offer is a 'hands-free operated mobile phone, hands free in the sense, all operations, be it texting/typing, and th entire operation itself is controlled by the mind.' all it needs is a chip in the phone and a similar detachable one that can be plugged into your ear. the reason i thought of this was, me be a msgng freak, i've been struck 'n' number of times in situations wherein i need to text someone something important but alas, am stuck behind the steering wheel. but with this technology, we can text, play songs and do much much more, all without a touch. ;)

Another feature i thought i should add was a mobile-charging feature., a solar powered one at that. these charging units can be hemispherical pods that can be placed(and/or stuck on walls using powerful suction clips) under the sun. the mobile phone can be connected to it using regular charging cables and voila- charging on the move!!! dont you think this is a better option to charge while travelling by trains or buses. and of course the charging unit is a separate entity in itself. the mobile can also be charged in the conventionl way. ;)

With the passage of time mobile phones have evolved into mini computers, with features available on any standard personal computer. but one thing i found lacking was a usb port, of course, i guess it'll be out soon but i thought i would add this in my smart phone too. couple this with a 3-d video projecter and half the problems we face during presentations are solved. good bye laptops, my smart phone is all i need.

One more thing i thought of was a holographic 3d interface that projects items on the screen in the form of a hologram that rises from the screen itself. revolutionary, sophisticated and fun.

4 things i thought would revolutionise the already advanced versions of mobiles- the smart phone.
