Yet another hectic week has gone by and life still remains the same at SRM, India's no 1 private university.
The mad rush that is associated with end of semester ensued here as well as the past week saw us running madly across campus running behind professors, wrestling in crowds to get the bonafide photocopies and the occasional sprint up and down the department building, frantically searching for the HOD!!! :D
The most painful moment though came on thursday, the day of my enginnering drawing exams. A couple of sleepless nights before the exam that were spent on finishing off the pending charts left me totally drained on the day of the exam. having already appeared for the exam in my previous coll, the exam was a piece of cake as i ended up finishing the exam well ahead of schedule. and then it came, two senior coll staff carelessly tearing apart my record, in the name of formalities. as i saw the file being punched, i felt the nail going through my own heart, as i saw 36 hours of really really hard work go down the drain, am not exaggerating, it really hurt so much. :S
oh, this cruel world..
And what better way to end the week than to sign off with 4 tests and 2 lab experiments on a single day. yeah, u read that rite, 4 damn tests, all in a single day, i'd probably be holding a record for most tests in a day if ever there existed one. :P
And to make matters worse, i ended up waiting an additional hour to catch the coll bus. and guess what, they cancelled the ONE bus that was scheduled to take me home, aargh, how bad can it get. But it actually tend out to be a blessing in disguise i managed to hitchhike a ride back home in my friend M's car. The reason i said it was a blessing in disguise was cos we got to spend some time together, catching up on the 15 yrs that had gone by inbetween.
Anyways, All's well that ends well.
As one more gruelling week of exams approaches, yours truly prepares for battle. Armed with my scientific calc and my cello pens, i prepare to take on the tribes of mind boggling MATHS, madness inducing MATERIALS SCIENCE, heart attack inducing BIOLOGY, mind numbing MECHANICS and definitely not basic BASIC ENGG.
I guess its time to sign off, i can sense BIOLOGY fast approaching.
catch ya all next time.
until then, Adios!!!!
