SOWCARPET- revealed

If you've been reading any of my previous posts, you'd by now be knowing how much i hate this place-the traffic, the pollution and the people's total lack of basic sense(people here have the least concern for their neighbours, its always about them and them alone)

I could keep going on and on about how much i hate sowcarpet, but people would find it hard to believe, considering how popular sowcarpet is.

But i've got proof!!!
finally!!
Here's a photo that was taken very recently near my house- an example of how people park their vehicles here.

That bike remained parked there for the next 30 minutes. if this is the case with lesser crowded streets, imagine how it would be along mint street or N.S.C.Bose road. People would just start parking their bikes parallel to this guy's bike and consequently, the width of the already small lane decreases even more. then why wouldn't you have traffic jams. :@

.There's no point in complaining about traffic when you are the ones creating it.

c'mon people, grow up. learn to respect the world around you

And i'll definitely be back with more startlingly disturbing pics of sowcarpet.

until next time,

adios!!!!

SMS PICK OF THE WEEK

A golden thought:

"IF YOU FALL, DON'T SEE THE PLACE WHERE YOU FELL.

INSTEAD, SEE THE PLACE WHERE YOU SLIPPED".

Cos, success is all about correcting mistakes.

Remember that failure isn't the stepping stone to success, it is infact the correction of failure that is.

So never mind if you fail, just make sure the next time you try it, you dont repeat the mistake.

Keep winning.

Adios!!!! :)

SMS PICK OF THE WEEK

Unlike my previous sms picks of the week, this one's not motivational. well to be frank, this one's awe inspiring. check it out.

An example of SACHINISM:

IPL 2010- 2nd half

RR vs MI match

A RR fan shows a board written "pls don't hit our warne for 4. hit him for 6."

DC vs MI match

DC fan shows a board written "Show some mercy MASTER. we're not Australia, we're just Deccan Chargers."

CSK vs MI match

When sachin returned back after retiring hurt due to dehydration, a CSK fan shows: "11 superkings against 1 superhuman"

RCB vs MI match

A RCB supporter had a banner that said: "Master, steal the ORANGE CAP from our Kallis. But pls don't steal our victory"

Truly amazing. If there is one man on this planet for whom people love and care incessantly, its got to be the little master, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar..

kudos sir..

we salute you..

until next time, adios!!!!!!

MOVIE REVIEW - HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON

This movie falls under the same category as KUNG FU PANDA in the sense, its an animation flick meant for kids but actually contains a deeper message. Well to be frank, when I first came across the title, I thought, what the hell should I really give it a try. But a few friend’s of mine who did manage to catch the movie during the first day of its release told me that they really enjoyed it. Considering how vetti I was at that time, I decided, what the hell, why not download it. ;)

And I must admit, I totally enjoyed each and every minute of the movie. The animation was done to make it look like a kid’s movie. But I guess that’s what made the movie click, the childish animation complimenting the strong screenplay though I must admit, there really wasn’t much of a proper story. :D

But as I said, the movie was really really enjoyable and the special bonding between HICCUP, the Viking boy and TOOTHLESS, the wounded Night fury dragon was definitely commendable. Definitely a movie people of all age groups would enjoy.

Well I must admit, I was stupid to have downloaded this movie instead of watching it in 3D in the theatres. What to say, I didn’t really have time to go to the theatres back then. But once my exams are done, I’ll definitely make it a point to catch the movie in the theatre. Hope u guys do the same.

P.S. One thing I noticed when I was watching the movie was that this movie seems to have borrowed heavily from its more stylishly animated cousin-AVATAR. There are many scenes, for eg, the scene where Hiccup learns to ride Toothless that resembles very much the scene where the hero’s avatar catches his “flying dragon” near the Floating Mountains of Pandora. A sense of déjà vu occurs in a few more scenes but I guess these glitches get overshadowed by the overall brilliance of the film. Definitely a must watch.
Running in theatres near you.
Until next time,
ADIOS!!!!!!!

STUDY HOLLS?!?!!? YEAH RITE.. :D

U know what the worst part of a semester is?
of course, its the STUDY HOLLS, the one week's time alloted before the exams for studying during which time we usually end up doing everything except studying.

Yeah yeah, it was no different in my case as well, though this time around, i had a valid reason to be not studyin, ya that's rite, i had my league games which unfortunately had to be extended till the month of may, the month during which the sun seems brighter than the yellow on the CSK jersey(believe me, it was so damn hot) :S :D

The matches went off really well and as u guess i was really upbeat, and really tired as well cos 6 hours under that hot sun really drained me. So that ruled out any possibilities of me studying after i returned from the match [which was already very very slim ;D]

But i really had a lot of time on hand. So after a quick shower after the game, it was time for some movie watchin. And movie watchin i did. I actually ended up downloading and watchin a wide range of movies. Name the genre, i had been there, done that. ;)

The last league game of the season ended up today and obviously, it was time to chill out and chill out i did with a movie marathon. 3 movies straight and i must admit, i totally loved watchin them. good choice of movies i guess cos i didn't really get bored.

The best of the lot i watched today was of course, the latest hollywood animation flick, "HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON", a brilliant movie and a must watch for those who are looking for clean, wholesome entertainment unlike the other hollywood movie which i saw and also totally liked, though i must admit, the viewership would be limited to restricted age groups and sections of the society. ;D

Time seems to be running in super fast mode now with barely 4 days left before my first exam starts. And considering the way things function at INDIA'S NO 1 PRIVATE UNIVERSITY, I guess i'll be losing one more day in the process of collecting my hall ticket. So now it comes down to jus 3 days, and this time i must admit, i definitely am up with my back against the wall. jus hope everything works out well.

Until next time,

Adios...

SMS PICK OF THE WEEK

A blind man was begging on the streets of New York with a board written, "I am blind, pls help me"
A guy passing that side saw him. he took that board and wrote something. On that day, the blind man got a heavy collection. Many people started to givemoney. Can u guess what the man wrote?

He wrote " TODAY IS A BEAUTIFUL DAY, BUT I CAN'T SEE IT"

The way of expressing your thoughts can change many things.

Until next time,
